Quint is a pro fisherman who has probably had more experience with sharks than any other character in the movie (except for maybe Matt Hooper). After meeting Police Chief Martin Brody, he agrees to take him, along with Hooper out in his boat to try to catch the shark, but sadly, he doesn't succeed (Brody and Hooper do). In the final sequence of the film, Quint is attacked and killed by the shark. Show less «
